SUMMARY

Magnolia Senior Living partnered with Velo Solar to install a roof-top solar array at their new facility in Sharpsburg, GA. The array helped Magnolia meet its financing requirements under the SBA 504b Green Loan Program while also reducing the facility’s operating cost. This was the developer’s first solar integrated community and its first SBA 504b loan.

Project Scope: Velo provided full design, engineering, procurement and construction of the PV rooftop array, project management and ongoing operations and maintenance. In addition, Velo provided SBA loan guidance assistance and coordination with the local AHJ on some zoning issues related to the project.
