ABOUT VELO SOLAR
Since 2008, Velo Solar has been a leading commercial solar installer in the Southeast. Our engineer led team delivers turnkey solar solutions with a focus on designing a unique data-driven solution that meet your company’s renewable energy requirements.
Don’t think of us as just another solar company
When Mark co-founded Velo’s parent company, Empower Energy Technology, we initially set up shop selling commercial grade generators, intent on making sure our customers never found themselves without power. Always striving to keep our clients powered up, we quickly saw an opportunity to provide renewable, reliable energy production solutions through solar PV and to monitor their energy in real-time by developing our proprietary PowerEnfo smart grid software.
So we created two separate businesses – Velo Solar and PowerEnfo. This way we could help our customers produce energy, plus monitor and measure not only their energy production, but also their energy consumption.
We are helping business re:power to a cleaner, greener and more cost effective energy system. With over a 100 years of combined experience we have installed every conceivable configuration of solar PV, battery storage and micro-grid so trust the experts with your renewable energy needs.
Today, we’re one of Georgia’s largest solar EPC firms. And we’re proud to play an integral role in the projects and initiatives that move our city, state, and region further into a sustainable reality. Looking at Atlanta’s famous BeltLine path right outside our windows, it’s fitting to reflect on our past. But for us, it’s not only where we come from, but where we’re going.
Your in-house energy consultants.
Velo Solar takes a consulting approach to the unique energy needs of our clients, taking into account their timing, company goals and financial realities. We don’t sell solar energy systems, but rather co-design renewable energy solutions for our clients.
The equipment and configuration are just one part of the puzzle (the easy part) and we take care of the hard part, why and how should your business re:power:
- What services and benefits do you receive from your utility and what opportunities for enhancement exist?
- How do you manage energy and what are your climate and sustainability goals?
- Should you take a phased approach that matches your business’s budgeting and capital expenditure approach.
We recognize that solar isn’t one-size-fits-all but we do believe renewable energy will power ALL businesses in the future. Let us help you join the clean energy future today.
